Thanks to the latest computer technology, it is nowadays no longer a problem to restore a tooth that has undergone treatment to its original natural appearance. With the aid of Cerec-3D equipment, a patient can be fitted with high quality and 100% natural looking inlays, crowns, half crowns or veneers in just an hour and a half. To achieve this, the tooth is digitally photographed and edited three dimensionally on a computer. The results are then transmitted to a CNC machine which, within 15 minutes, is able to mould a crown, an inlay or a veneer out of a tooth coloured ceramic block. The precision work is promptly carried out in the practice?s own laboratory until finally the new tooth replacement is ready to be put in place. The result is not only convincing through its accuracy of fit but also through its highly natural appearance, making it near enough impossible to distinguish between a treated and an untreated tooth.
